About

The course is aimed at pilots who wish to become Type Rated for the Airbus A330 Family.

The course is conducted to EASA Part-FCL regulations.

​

With the Type Rating A330, Aviapro offers experienced pilots as well as beginners the qualification to fly one of the most successful model of the Airbus family. During the training we impact the knowledge of systems, by means of Web Based Training & Procedures and with the support of our trainers. You gain practical experience in the Full Flight Simulator. After successfully completing the exams and the base training, the licence registration is carried out by the aeronautical authority.

Course Content

  • Ground School (WBT) Instructor led from the first day on

  • Procedure Training on A330 Flight Training Device

  • Performance Course

  • MCC (optional) 

  • FMGS Training

  • ECAM Training

  • Theory Examination

  • A330 Full Flight Simulator

  • Licensing Skill Test

  • Base Training (scheduled separately)

  • LVO Training (optional)

  • ETOPS Training (optional)

  • CCQ A320/A340 to A330

Prerequisites

  • Valid CPL with ATPL frozen

  • Valid ME IR Rating

  • Valid Medical Class 1

  • ICAO ELP Level 4

  • MCC Certificate of Completion*

* MCC course could be integrated into your Type Rating Training Program.

Training Location

The duration of the Type Rating course is approximately 5 weeks including Days off and transportation.

Duration

Theoretical training may be performed either in Aviapro base in Athens, or in one of the collaborating Simulators Centers, upon request.

 

Practical training performed in one of the collaborating Simulator Training Centers.
